Production of "Daredevil: Born Again" was delayed due to the scrapping of existing footage and the Hollywood strike. On set, the cast of the Netflix original series "Daredevil" were confirmed to have returned.

First, Daredevil, played by Charlie Cox, made an appearance. He has already appeared in the films "Spider-Man No Way Home" and "She-Hulk." In the Spider-Man film, he was simply a lawyer with heightened senses, while in She-Hulk, he appeared in a suit that was just a color change from his Netflix series days. This time, Daredevil's new suit has finally been revealed.

"Bullseye," the main villain from Daredevil season 3, is also returning. He didn't have a distinctive costume in the previous series, but in "Born Again," he seems to be wearing a costume similar to the comics.

The three main characters from the Daredevil Netflix series were also spotted together. In the final episode of the Netflix series, the law firm "Nelson and Murdock" was renamed "Nelson, Murdock and Page." On set, a sign reflecting this change was displayed outside the office.

Daredevil is a character with as many ups and downs as Spider-Man. Daredevil, like the X-Men or Spider-Man, had his film rights sold to 20th Century Fox. 20th Century Fox's "Daredevil" (2003) was a complete failure in both box office and critical reception. It was such a huge failure that Fox simply retained the rights without making any new Daredevil films or TV series, and the rights reverted to Marvel after a decade in 2013.

From 2014 to 2018, Marvel produced the Netflix original series "Daredevil" and it was a huge success. However, as Disney withdrew from Netflix and launched Disney Plus, the Netflix Daredevil ended with season 3. (The production team was already preparing for season 4 at the time.)

After that, Marvel announced that they would be producing a separate Daredevil TV series, "Daredevil: Born Again," featuring the actors from the Netflix series. At the same time, it was reported that the Netflix Daredevil series would be removed from the Marvel Universe "canon."

However, "Born Again," which was about halfway through filming, didn't seem to be in good shape. Marvel Studios fired the writers of "Born Again" and scrapped most of the existing footage. They then brought in the writers and producers from the original Netflix Daredevil series. The Netflix series became part of the Marvel Universe "canon" again.

Therefore, Daredevil: Born Again is expected to be essentially season 4 of the Netflix original series Daredevil. The props and actors on set are also consistent with season 3.
