Classic Game Remakes & Sequels Coming to Nintendo Switch in 2024

Mario vs. Donkey Kong

Originally developed for the Game Boy Advance in 2004, Mario vs. Donkey Kong is making a comeback as a Nintendo Switch exclusive. It will feature 2-player cooperative gameplay and introduce new maps. It is scheduled to be released on February 16th for $50.

Princess Peach: Showtime

Princess Peach, often the damsel in distress in the Mario series, takes center stage as the protagonist in this game. It is considered a spiritual successor to the 2005 Nintendo DS game, 'Super Princess Peach.' The 2005 game featured Peach rescuing Mario after he was kidnapped. This time, it seems Peach will be reclaiming a theater that villains have taken over.

It will be released on March 22nd for $59.99.

Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD

Luigi's Mansion 2, originally released as a Nintendo 3DS exclusive in 2013, is being remastered for the Nintendo Switch. Although a horror game starring Luigi, it's known for its cute and comedic elements rather than being scary. It was reportedly one of the most acclaimed games on the Nintendo 3DS.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
