In season 2, Leif Erikson and Harald Sigurdsson arrived in Constantinople, the capital of the Roman Empire. Harald, who was defeated in the struggle for the throne of Norway and England, went into exile with his friend Leif, traveling through Russia and eventually to Constantinople.

In real history, Harald Sigurdsson served for a long time in the 'Varangian Guard,' a Viking mercenary army in Rome. However, he eventually fled Constantinople after a conflict with the Romans and returned to Norway. The released still cut shows Harald in the costume of the Roman Imperial Guard, suggesting that his story follows historical facts.

Leif's path is unclear. He lived in the same era as Harald but was known for exploring the Americas after crossing Greenland. He arrived in Constantinople with Harald at the end of season 2. For him to follow the historical path of 'Leif Erikson,' he now needs to cross the European continent again and then cross the Atlantic Ocean.

Freydis stayed in Northern Europe. She gets caught up in the conflict between traditional beliefs and Christianity within Viking society. In the previous series 'Vikings', 'Upsala', the center of Viking traditional beliefs, was destroyed by Christian Vikings, and Freydis embarks on a path to protect traditional beliefs.

At the end of season 2, Freydis killed the Norwegian king 'Olaf,' who forced people to convert to Christianity, in a duel. She is also recorded in real history as a person who explored the Americas. Therefore, it is likely that she will cross the Atlantic with Leif when he returns to Northern Europe.
